Uma is the founder and chief facilitator of Idam Learning. She has worked with several organisations, co creating change and leader development interventions in order to help build performance culture in the last over a decade. This OD work has created opportunities to work with people from many cultures and countries within Asia and Europe. Some interventions were focussed on managing diversity and creating a culture of collaboration amongst different cultures while some others were on enhancing customer intimacy or leader development and coaching. Prior to starting Idam Learning, Uma worked with enterprises such as Daksh (a part of IBM) Digital, Sylvan prometric and Aptech. During her stint in corporate world she managed diverse portfolios e.g., franchise network management and new business launch for Aptech, country operations management for Sylvan prometric and talent resourcing and training management in Daksh.
Uma has done Masters in Chemistry, MBA from FMS delhi university and L.L.b from Delhi University. She has done several certifications in the area of applied behaviour sciences including a change program with Edgar Schein and Appreciative Leadership in NTL US. She received “Distinguished trainer award’ in Asia Pacific by World HRD Congress in 2013.
Uma blends her passion and curiosity for learning with her deep knowledge of applied behavioral sciences. She draws from her years of business experience to create a results and application focused interdisciplinary approach to learning. She is a resilient learner and observer who believes in the inherent capacity of individuals to learn, grow and change.
